Privacy policy

Flowershift Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we look after it. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

1. What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email, phone number (for SMS alerts) and organisation.
  • Locations: the places you save, and your device’s location if you allow it in the app.
  • Billing details: handled by our payment provider; we don’t store full card numbers.
  • Usage data: how you use the Service, device and browser details, and logs we need to run and secure it.
  • Messages: anything you send us, such as support emails or demo requests.

2. How we use it

  • To provide forecasts and alerts for your locations, and to bill you.
  • To support you and tell you about changes to the Service.
  • To keep the Service secure and to improve it, including our forecast models.
  • To send product news, only if you agree. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We don’t sell personal information.

3. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the Service, such as hosting, email, SMS and payment providers, and only as needed. Some of them store data outside Australia; we take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it. We may also disclose information where the law requires.

4. How we protect it

We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and monitoring. See our security page for more.

5. Cookies

This website uses only the cookies it needs to work. The app uses cookies to keep you signed in. Placeholder: update if analytics are added.

6. Access, correction and deletion

You can see and update most of your information in the app. To ask for a copy of your information, a correction, or for your account to be deleted, email privacy@flowershift.com.au.

7. Complaints

If you have a privacy concern, email privacy@flowershift.com.au and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
